Quilting

We use quilting not only to add an additional warming layer, but also for decorative purposes. We put insulation between two layers of fabric and sew the edges together. You can also baste the thermal insulation layer to the left side of one of the pattern parts, connect both parts right sides together, and then sew on three sides, turn right side out and sew the fourth edge with a slightly visible scalloping stitch.

1. APPLICATION OF THE PATTERN – We have to decide on the quilting pattern. The diagonal stripes are the simplest and most visible, but you can also quilt e.g.. around patterns on the fabric. We mark the lines of the pattern with a description.

2. LAYERING – We cut the raw material into a layer of warming materials for the lining and the outer side according to the same dimensions. Place the insulating layer in the middle, We fasten everything with pins.

3. QUILTING – We baste all the layers together, so that they stick better. We sew along the designated lines. Remove the basting and cut the lining protruding beyond the seams. We sew the outer edges.
