In some small rooms, the ceiling or the roof make it possible to maximize space. Homes built in disused factory buildings or from older subdivisions, larger homes often have high ceilings, where it is possible to install an upper level in some rooms, usually a bedroom or a study, and reserve the lower floor for living areas. To get to the next level, a simple ladder or stairs so small are enough, how is this possible, to protect the usable space. These upstairs rooms can open to the rest of the property via balustrades or medium-height walls. This rule also allows natural lighting to illuminate both floors.
Another possibility is to find an apartment with a vaulted ceiling, which is not uncommon in penthouse apartments. Low area, where the sloping ceiling and walls meet, takes up a lot of space and makes distribution difficult, although there are ways to get around it: the bedroom can be placed here, with the bed placed on a slope, so that the headrest is at the highest end. Another idea is to use a low area to install a small TV module.
