Correct placement of the sewn product on a piece of furniture (or hanging curtains on the window) is just as important as the juxtaposition of repeating patterns in a pattern. Try the product on the window or piece of furniture, to find out, in what position it looks best. Curtains should be hung like this, so that the seams come out on the sides. However, with bedspreads or tablecloths, the entire part of the fabric should be in the middle of the bed or table along its length.
