Stitch “behind the needle”

"AFTER THE NEEDLE."”

It is used to perform strong, permanent seams in places difficult to reach by the machine, np. in tight corners. You can also sew zippers with this stitch, if we cannot sew them on the machine. The seam is made "behind the needle" stitch” is more certain, because even if it tears apart at some point, you don't have to pierce it all over again, only in the damaged part.

EXECUTION OF STITCHES

First stitch, length 1 cm, we perform from the right side. Then we put the needle in 5 mm in front of the place where the thread comes out of the fabric and pull it out by 5 mm behind this place. We repeat this action, each time putting in the needle in place, where the previous stitch ends. The stitches should have po 5 mm of length on the right side of the fabric, a po 1 cm to the left and overlap half the previous stitch.
