Most tailoring requires the ability to combine parts of the fabric into one larger whole.. Such connections are usually made using single flat seams. However, if a smooth and strong seam is needed, we use an overlap or French seam. To connect the material, we will need threads of the appropriate color and basic sewing supplies.
1. BLASTING OF CLEAN AND MATERIAL – After cutting to the appropriate dimensions, place the parts of the material right sides together and fit their unbound edges. We fasten them with pins, we baste and connect with a seam at a distance 1,5 cm from the edges.
2.STAPLING – We remove the pins and sew on the machine along the basting line. After sewing and finishing the seam, remove the basting.
3. SMOOTHING SEAMS – So that the fabric connection line does not stick out, iron the seam.
