Miter jointing of the girders at the corners
Correct joining of the hems at the corners, regardless of the thickness of the material, it is necessary for the careful finishing of the product. This operation must be performed before all the edges are lined. This is especially important when sewing curtains. It is not a difficult technique, but it varies depending on the type and width of the precinct. In thick and difficult to fold material, corner bending is difficult to do and does not look nice. If, on the other hand, the unnecessary material is cut from the corner, the number of its layers will decrease, hence the thickness, which will contribute to a more careful finish of the product.
JOINING SINGLE CIRCLES AT THE CORNERS
1. DETERMINATION OF THE HORN – We protect the edges of the fabric. We put the hoops to the desired width, put one on top of the other in the corners and press them. Mark the points on the edges with pins, in which they touch.
2. HORN FOLDING – We unwind the precinct plants. We fold the corner of the fabric from one pin to the other and press it.
3. STITCHING THE CORNER – We put the hoops on again, forming the corner. We sew the folded parts along the diagonal with a little visible stitch, np. machining.
DOUBLE LAMINATING CORNER JOINING
We assume the hoops twice. We mark the places with pins, in which they overlap. We repeat this action, assuming the hoops in the reverse order. We are developing the second precinct, bend it from pin to pin and iron it. We roll up the hoops again and sew the corner diagonally.
